We are pleased to announce that we have been appointed by Wakefield based clothing expert, Xamax, to provide support with PR, press engagement and social media activity.
Working closely with the team – which have more than 20 years’ experience of supplying work wear, promotional clothing and sportswear throughout the UK – we will be raising the profile of the business and encouraging people to visit their brand new store, which is located on Roundwood Industrial Estate on Dewsbury Road.
Managing Director of Xamax, Graham Thomson said: “Open Communications were actually recommended to us by another local business who use them. After meeting with the team we felt that they understood our business and would work hard to put in place an on-going PR strategy that would support the continuous growth of our company and the Xamax brand.”
Account Manager at Open Communications, Naomi Stafford comments: “We are looking forward to working with Xamax to develop a strategy that will meet with their objectives. They certainly have a fantastic story to tell and after recent investments it is clear that they are a growing and ambitious business.
“The team add an interesting and exciting dimension to our credentials as an agency and we know that together we will come up with some creative campaigns that will deliver results, while having some fun.”
After launching Xamax in the back bedroom of a friend’s house, Graham and his wife Janice have worked hard to build up the business, creating the successful family run enterprise it is today. Their excitement, vision and passion are infectious and we know that as a result we will all be seeing a lot more of them in the media over the coming months.
As an agency that very much values relationships, we are really pleased to add Xamax to our growing list of clients which includes HARIBO, Abduls Takeaway Diner, Pom-Bear, Paragon and The Ridings Shopping Centre. Sharing values is a big part of what we do at Open and we know that we will be doing all we can to support Graham and the team in their efforts to meet with their main objective: ‘To be massive!’.
There are certainly some exciting times ahead for Open Comms as we continue to extend our client portfolio and celebrate our fifth year as an independent agency.
